The Browns & Date Day

We love spending time with the Brown family! I think they all love Harper almost as much as we do!

We were lucky and got some great tickets to the Nebraska v. Iowa Sate game last weeekend! Had a great day date :) And what date would be complete without a nite cap at Molly's with some family and friends?

Eight Months Old

Harper loves her new exersaucer - working her Zoolander pose!
This past weekend we got to hang out with the Stougaard girls, Harper loves spending time with her cousins :)

In the spirit of football season, Mike & I decided to have Harper's 8 month photo session in her Sconnie onesie (a gift from Uncle BJ + Aunt Jackie), so delighted to have finally captured that infectious smile in a picture!
Hanging out on the couch...

I also realized how much I love seeing Harper with these darling little bows in her hair! She's becomming such a little girl...

Harper's new favorite snack, her toes!
Decided we should actually take some pics with us in them! H and Dad!

H & Mama
I can't get over how cute these little leg warmers are! Not sure if Harper agrees...

A very un-official family portrait!
Oh Harper Grace, I can't belive how much you've grown + changed! We had so much fun with your photo shoot last night! You definately know how to smile for the camera now. Happy eight months sweetie! Love you bunches - Mama+Dad

Snow?

Upon waking up Saturday morning, this was our greeting from Mother Nature...

This is how we roll on snow days - inside play!

Sunday night we headed over to the Kawa's, Harper was served her lovely carrot dinner by Grandpa Tom...
And had lots of cuddle time with Auntie Jill & Uncle Tim who were in town visiting for the weekend! Wow, weekends just always seem to fly by!

Harper rocks the Bumbo!

I picked Harper up at Michelle's yesterday afternoon & found out that she can sit in the Bumbo seat now! We immediately headed out & picked one up on the way home! We had tried it earlier this summer with Harper's therapist and she was just too small for it...imagine my suprise that she can do it all by herself now! We are so proud of her, such a strong girl!

Leaving this morning, I couldn't resist taking a pic of the new winter hat...

Last night, after she polished a jar of apples in ten minutes flat!

Five Years

What a weekend! We started it off on Friday night (our anniversrary) by closing on the house in Ralston! Woo hoo - celebrated with Papa Johns & cokes! Saturday morning for the Buddy Walk the temps were in the 40's - brrrrr, thankfully Harper was able to stay home with Grandpa & Grandma Gorder that morning. Mike & I went (proudly I might add - donations in Harper's name totalled $1200!!!), froze & walked.
Later in the day, Mike & I headed out for our big date night out! Harper had her first overnight at Grandpa & Grandma Kawa's. We stayed in a beautiful room at the Hilton downtown. Met Sara (Matron of Honor in our wedding) for drinks & gambling that night... woke up to an amazing breakfast in the hotel & then rushed back to hold our dear sweet girl - 24 hours is a long time to be away from the wonderful Miss H! It was such a wonderful way to celebrate 5 years together - I am so lucky to have such a swell partner in this sweet life. Love you Mike!

Can't post without some fun new pics of H - just taken this morning! I just realized how long her hair is getting, over the ears - ohmy!
